Jimmy got what he paid for in JSN, while Lamb, London and St. Brown are all pretty much even value from the draft cost – but there is still plenty of regret to go around.
MATT: Second Deck took a risk on the injured Malik Nabors, and it paid off great. Nabors was the 16th WR drafted, but currently ranks as 7th best in total points despite NYG’s quarterback situation. The problem here though, and likely a big reason why Matt currently sits in 11th place in the standings, is the healthy WRs taken. Rashee Rice missed KC’s last three games, and wasn’t exactly lighting the world on fire before the injury. Then DJ Moore, expected to be Allen’s #1 option in Buffalo, ranks 68th among WRs and has only played two complete games so far. Even when ranked for PPG, both guys are only borderline WR3s.
KRONNER: While Kronner Bros hasn’t been too damaged about it thus far, there were some real fuckups here. Waddle has been a $26 disaster as Bo Nix’s lack of throwing talent has been spotlighted pretty bright. Waddle ranks 37th in total points, but drops to 57th in PPG. This would be more palatable, but one of my other big drafts targets was Matthew Golden, who actually went undrafted, and whom I picked up soon after the draft. Due to some poor roster decisions though, I dropped him before W1 to pick Josh Jacobs and Jim smartly snapped him right up. To this point in the season Golden is a Top 10 guy. I just couldn’t stomach that many Packers on my team…
JOSH: You drafted AJ Brown, this is karma.
