And Now Their Watch Is Ended… (UPDATED)

As the regular season comes to an end, let’s take a minute to remember those who have fallen in battle this season…

After a 1-3 start, which included losses to both Dave and Josh, C Tan vs The World saw a very-Dan Campbell 5-1 run in the middle of the year to make things interesting. However, it was eventually the season sweep by Team Wendy’s that is the easiest thing to point to here as why CTvTW didn’t make the postseason.

Talk about a run of mediocrity, the Washington Sentinels this year had records of 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, and now 7-7 to close it out. A three-game run followed immediately by a three-game slid seems to perfectly sum up Josh’s year.

The only team in the league to finish the year 6-8, the highlight of Dave’s season might be single-handedly denying Chris a chance to advance, especially in week 14 when he had very little to play for. Sir, This is a Wendy’s started 2-0 this year, before dumping the bed in weeks 3 & 5, setting the a new low water mark not seen 2009.

FIVE AND ONE. That’s right, Burrito Warrior Revival started the season 5-1, which, along with C Tan’s 2020 (started 5-0, finished 6-7), is one of the most epically painful collapses in league history. This roster doesn’t look bad enough to be 5-9…

Tom Brady is finally showing his age, and Kyle is ignoring it. The Tim Brady’s are going to finish the year at 4-10 5-9, and have to probably buy a new jersey in the offseason.

Tim. Tim, Tim Tim – what happened? The FanDuel Boosters were so close to perfection, 0-11 and rolling and they had to ruin it – running off three-straight a couple wins toward the end of the regular season on the backs of Mike White, L’Jarius Sneed and Miles Sanders, chalking up wins over first place SECOND DECK and the Flying Dutchmen (who were in 2nd at the time).

Now, pending the approval of Ryan and Chris, the march into the cold reality of the death of their championship dreams will cost them about three-fiddy $20.
