Best Positional Coach: Wide Receiver Edition

So after finishing the QB stuff, and the logical second step – Kickers – we now move on to wideouts, which edged out the RB spot by one vote. (Thanks to the 3 people who actually voted. Merica!)

Here we see the biggest difference from first to worst of the positions so far, with Murphy Innies finishing last, more than 2200 points behind our winner. Likely one of the biggest factors in Murphy’s 1-12 finish has to be obtaining only 3466 from his wideouts. That averages out to 266 points a week, or 88 points per slot for the year. Comparatively, Kronner, Steve, and Dave – who finished 5th, 6th and 7th respectively, basically creating the average, got around 120 per WR slot for the year.

But you want to know who got the money. Well, I’m getting there. The most productive WR this season was Davante Adams, who spent the whole year on the Skippers. But finishing just 25 points behind him, was the DV Champ himself, Ty(reek of child abuse) Hill. The KC speedster lead a wideout corps for BE A MAN HOGAN that finished almost 600 points ahead of the 2nd place Skippers team.

The face of an angel…

Let’s go to the chart!

BE A MAN HOGAN put up near 6000 points at the WR spot this year, assembling an impressive unit right from the draft. His main lineup was Hill with Jamison Crowder and Will Fuller V. The fill-ins included Hollywood Brown, KJ Hamler, Tee Higgins, Deebo Samuel, and uber-disappointment Michael Thomas, whom he traded away Crowder to get. $25 headed your way John-boy.
