Luck of the Draw: Scheduling

A few of the things I learned here played out pretty much how I expected, but there were a couple surprises as well. Here is a chart showing, through ten weeks, how many times you’ve faced a team on one of their two highest scoring weeks, as well as facing teams on their lowest scoring weeks…

Manager Best Worst
Chris 1 1
Cork 0 0
Dave 4 1
Jim 2 3
Jones 1 4
Josh 2 4
Kron 4 1
Kyle 2 3
Matt 3 2
Mork 3 1
Ryan 1 3
Trigger 1 1

First, the trends I that played out like I thought; Dave and Kronner have the worst ratio here, both having been subjected to 4:1 ratios not in our favor. Four times so far Dave #4 and Mr. MacGruber have faced a team having their best showing to mixed results. On the flip side of that, the Skippers have been smacked upside the head with the Blarney Stone, with 1:4 ratio going the other way. Jon has taken advantage of four different managers on their down week, only once facing someone performing above their average.

Josh has been involved in six of these games (4 in his favor), while the best ratio behind Jones belongs to Ryan at 1:3. Opposite that, at 3:1 is Kaiser.

What I didn’t predict is just how average Cork’s competition has been, all his matchups coming on average scoring weeks, with no highs or lows – perhaps helping to explain how close all of his games are.
