So after 24 years in the league (and 20 since his only title), Timmo decided he was fully burnt out and has retired. More shocking is that Sanchez, who actually saw a lot of success during his 8 seasons in the league (just edging out Jones for best average finish per year) has also decided to step away. So to fill these spots, we see Jim Toepel return, taking back the spot he previously gave to Sanchez. Additionally, new comer Christopher “Corky” Burke joins the league as a new comer.
Cork hasn’t played any Fantasy in like 50 years or something, and this will be a whole different system, but we’ve seen time and again in this league beginners luck with new managers blowing up in their first year. If I don’t strangle him before Christmas, we could see Cork march into the playoffs.
Toepel brings more history with him, having previously spent 14 years in the league.
