Chris and I have been updating the settings, and while we’ve still got a couple months before we draft, I thought it’d be a good time to discuss the new changes for this upcoming season.
- Roster Size – We dropped from 22 to 21, eliminating 1 Bench spot and shortening the draft by one round.
- IR Spots – We moved from 2 to 3, lessening the blow of the bench reduction.
- Waivers – We will now have a bidding system for waivers, and you will have a budget for the year, spend wisely. Free Agents are still free, and you can bid $0 on Waiver players if you want.
- IDP Scoring – More balance for tackles vs splash plays. Pretty much right in between the old system and the one we used last year.
REJECTED CHANGES
- Team D – Both a switch to, and the inclusion of Team D was voted down.
- TE to FLEX – The idea of adding a 2nd Flex in place of TE.
- Eliminate Kickers – No go.
