History Answers; Who is the TRUE King of the Dump?

Since I started this site, Dump of the Week is something that I’ve tracked, but the stats were incomplete as only the last 5 years were accounted for. So I did a thing. I went back a little further and compiled data going back to 2004. Apparently Yahoo doesn’t keep scoring stats more than 20 years old, losers.

In recent years Dave has really dominated this category, and seems like the obvious answer – but in the early years, Dave had some scoring dominance. This league is not in its infancy, and when we look back, and base it on a seasonal average – does Dave actually hold the title?

Analzone wants to know…

Here are the weekly Dump stats from 2004-2023…

Rank Manager Count Seasons Per Year
1 Zach Hicks 6 2 3.000
2 Jim Toepel 29 12 2.417
3 Bryan Pauly 2 1 2.000
4 Mark Kaiser 35 20 1.750
5 Dave Alley 30 20 1.500
6 Tim McLeod 27 20 1.350
7 Ryan Kreger 15 13 1.154
8 Trigger 22 20 1.100
8 Brian Kronner 22 20 1.100
10 Kyle Serruys 7 7 1.000
11 Matt Alley 17 20 0.850
12 Bryan Bennett 10 12 0.833
12 Josh Kreger 10 12 0.833
14 Chris Tansuche 14 20 0.700
15 S. Sanchez 4 8 0.500
16 Jon Jones 9 20 0.450
17 John Sanchez 2 5 0.400

So the top of the chart predictably has some bums like Pauly and Hicks, and if Toepel was still here, he’d have a stranglehold – but of the active managers, it’s actually Mork, and not Dave who has dropped his pants in front of the league the most times!

What an upset!
