Tracking the upcoming Payouts…
Headed into next season, I’ll be proposing a total overhaul of payments and categories, but for this year we’ll stay with what we’ve used the last two seasons. Furthermore, I plan to send out ALL PAYMENTS on the Friday following the Championship game (Ed Kronner Day, January 6th) to avoid any possible changes via Stat Correction.
REGULAR SEASON PAYOUTS
REGULAR SEASON CHAMP – $40
Based on Record and Yahoo tie-breakers, this will go to the team that enters the playoffs as the #1 seed.
WINNER: SECOND DECK – Despite dropping a couple at the end, Matt was so dominant throughout the year that he earned a Week 15 BYE to lick his wounds as he waits to face the winner of the Kaiser v. Kronner matchup in the 2nd round.
MOST POINTS – $40 This goes to the team that scores the most overall points in the regular season.
WINNER: Sc4_Skippers – 2nd year in a row. Is anyone NOT sick of this guy?
BEST DRAFT – $40
This goes to the team that drafted the most points, regardless of how long you kept the guy.

RIVALRY CHAMP – $40
The team that scored the most lopsided victory in Weeks 3 and 10.
WINNER: Matt Alley – Regular season champ SECOND DECK put a whooping on The Tim Brady’s in Week 10, winning by a 756-point margin.
COACH OF THE YEAR – $40 – This goes to the Manager who makes the fewest lineup mistakes throughout the year – namely the least number of instances of a bench player significantly outscoring the player you started over him at the same position.
WINNER: The Mexico City Quasars – For the second year in a row, Sanchez locks down the Coach of the Year award. Last year he finished with 27 points, just edging out the Matts, who each had 29. This time around, The competition wasn’t so close. Steve had 25 points, the next best (Matt & Ryan) were way down at 34….
