So with only two weeks to go, things are starting to take shape. While Matt is the only one to officially have locked down a spot in the playoffs thus far, it seems like Trigger is a safe bet to get in. On the flip side, Timbo is officially out, and Kyle is as close as it gets to being out unless he can put up back-to-back 3000-point games the next two weeks, and several other teams lose out. That still leaves a jumble with 8 other teams fighting for four spots.
Sanchez, Josh and Kronner are all 7-5. Chris and Mark are 6-6, and Jones, Ryan and Dave sit at 5-7. So what needs to happen going forward to decide things?
3. THE MEXICO CITY QUASARS

Week 13 – Sir, This is a Wendy’s (5-7)
Week 14 – Washington Sentinels (7-5)
Steve currently sits in 3rd place, and barring a tie, will finish somewhere between 7-7 and 9-5. His remaining games are against Dave and Josh. The Quasars are just a few points ahead of Kaiser for 5th in scoring, which would currently give him a tie-breaker over 5 of the 8 teams he’s battling with. Unless he really shits the bed the next two weeks, splitting these two games will likely be enough to get him in, especially if he beats Dave this week, as that would likely take Team Wendys out of the competition.
Rooting Interest
W13: Kyle, Craig, Trigger and Jones
W14: Dave (if Steve wins Wk 13)
4. WASHINGTON SENTINELS

Week 13 – Sc4_Skippers (5-7)
Week 14 – Mexico City Quasars (7-5)
Josh is PROBABLE to get in with his current 4th-place standing, but he also has the hardest two weeks left of anyone. While Jones is two games under .500, he just straight-up committed homicide on Dave and stands as the 3rd highest-scoring team in the league. If Travis Etienne Jr. is healthy enough to go in Week 13 he gets the Lions in Detroit, which could be a plus matchup, but Lamar has a tough matchup vs. Denver’s Defense.
If Josh can take one of these games – especially the one against the Skippers – which would likely eliminate Jones – the Sentinels should be in.
Rooting Interest
W13: Kyle, Ryan, Trigger and Dave
5. RED BANK MALLRATS

Week 13 – The Tim Brady’s (4-8)
Week 14 – Kaiser (6-6)
Unlike Josh and Steve, Kronner’s 7 wins make for a much rockier post-season run. The Mallrats are currently 9th in points scored, and likely need to win out to avoid a tie-breaker situation which they would almost certainly lose.
Should Red Bank split, they have to hope the win comes against Kaiser for reasons of seeding. That might be a tall task however, seeing as the Colts will be on a BYE that week, leaving the Mallrats down two of their best offensive players.
Rooting Interest
W13: Ryan, Trigger, Jones and Dave
6. C TAN VS. THE WORLD

Week 13 – Burrito Warrior Revival (5-7)
Week 14 – Sir, This is a Wendy’s (5-7)
Chris has a chance to possibly eliminate two teams from contention in the next couple of weeks. As it stands currently, Chris is a projected 300-point favorite over Ryan this week, and getting a win there, given his point total (3rd most), he’ll likely be able to get in at 7-7, so a split could get it done.
That said, if he doesn’t win both, there is a chance he misses (all the teams ahead of him split, and Kaiser wins both), but again – probable to make it.
Rooting Interest
W13: Kyle, Trigger, Dave and Jones
7. Q-Kaiser

Week 13 – Flying Dutchmen (8-4)
Week 14 – Red Bank Mallrats (7-5)
Mark has the hardest remaining opposition win percentage (.600), but that’s deceiving. While he did lose to Kronner earlier in the year, he’s outscored the Mallrats by about 1500 for the season, and Trigger, who has sat near the top of the standings all year, has now dropped two straight and fallen behind Kaiser in total scoring for the year.
Mark likely needs to win out to get in, but could make in on a split so long as his win is against Kronner and there is some help elsewhere.
Rooting Interest
W13: Kyle, Ryan, Dave and Jones
8. SC4_SKIPPERS

Week 13 – Washington Sentinels (7-5)
Week 14 – Burrito Warrior Revival (5-7)
With the way Jon’s team performed in Week 12, no one wants to play him – and he might just roll through the Kreger boys and sneak into the playoff. He’ll need to beat them both, but if he does, and gets to 7-7, there’s a good chance his point total (2nd) gets him in.
Rooting Interest
W13: Kyle, Chris, Trigger, and Dave
9. BURRITO WARRIOR REVIVAL

Week 13 – C Tan vs The World (6-6)
Week 14 – Sc4_Skippers (5-7)
Ryan needs some help. Or divine intervention. With two incredibly tough matchups in front of him, the Burrito Warrior needs to win out and get some help.
He doesn’t want to face tie-breakers at 7-7, so he needs Jones, Dave and Kaiser gone – and if he has to tie someone, Kronner is his best chance.
Rooting Interest
W13: Steve, Josh, Trigger and Kyle
10. SIR, THIS IS A WENDY’S

Week 13 – The Mexico City Quasars (7-5)
Week 14 – C Tan vs. The World (6-6)
Like Ryan, Dave needs some help. He also faces an incredibly difficult road ahead. Team Wendys needs two wins, and needs to avoid tiebreakers with pretty much everyone.
If Tan and Kaiser lose out, and Jones and Ryan each lose at least one – Dave is in! Assuming he wins both games. I think.
Rooting Interest
W13: Ryan, Trigger, and Josh
