So after kicking around the idea for a few years, it seems like we might finally be ready to trade out the WR3 slot for a WR/RB/TE Flex. This of course would need to be voted into existence, especially with only a week til the draft. That said, I would think we probably need at least a 75% approval rating to change this – which in our case means 8 YES votes. Though if we get 6 or 7 we could probably open it up to debate.
“So how does this affect me?” you might be asking. Well, to be honest, the change likely won’t be too drastic, but it should open up some flexibility. You got 2 TEs that are tearing it up, but you have to bench one of them in favor of a pedestrian WR3 who has only gotten you over 80 points once this year? Worry no more.
Since we would be converting a WR slot, rather than simply adding a FLEX, there is no change needed to roster size or length of the draft.
Personally, I don’t have super strong feelings about it one way or the other, but I’m open to trying it out. So just click below to vote, and if we hit eight YES votes, Chris or I will adjust the roster.
