Here is a quick look at the Week 16 Matchups as we advance another week into the postseason. Last week we saw Chris, Kyle and the Kregers all lose their respective game, and we’ll now see Chris and Josh vie for 5th place, while Ryan and Kyle compete to avoid that 12th place finish.
So let’s see who’s left…
CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET
– THE 2019 REMATCHES –
#1 QAnon VS. #5 SECOND DECK

The Semi-Final round kicks off with Regular Season champ, still clutching his 2019 trophy, Team Kaiser facing off against SECOND DECK for the third time in Postseason History. The decision has gone Mark’s way each of the previous matches, most recently in this same Semi-Final round, where Kaiser won 2252-1926 on his way to destroy Kronner in the championship game.
This time around, we see Kaiser’s team, who started the year 10-1, ride into the playoff on a 3-game skid, an injured QB and his WR1, RB1, and LB1 all on the COVID List! Merry Christmas Morkus! On the flip side, Matt’s QB Kyler Murray is primed for a bounceback against the Colts after being embarrassed in Detroit last week. Matt also has 3 guys on the COVID list, including Dalvin Cook.
After last night’s TNF game, Matt saw his projected score drop 56 points thanks to a 2-tackle effort from Jeffery Simmons. As of now, Yahoo projects these teams only 14 points apart.
The winner of this match will advance to the Championship, and the loser will play for Bronze.
#2 Sc4_Skippers VS. #6 RED BANK MALLRATS

This is the fourth time these teams have met in the postseason, with Jones leading the series 2-1 so far. Their most recent match was in this same Semi-Final game back in 2019, where Kronner got his first win in the series, on the way to handing Kaiser a championship the next week.
The rosters this time around look quite a bit different, with the only returning player – Darius Leonard – switching sides and now playing for Coach Jones. This time around we’ll see a QB showdown between Prescott and Herbert, and Jones pairing Prescott with Kennan Allen, which hampers Herbert further, as he will already be without Austin Eckler.
To make matters even more dire, should Jones win, as projected, he will likely reach Diamond Status and be utterly insufferable for the foreseeable future.

The winner of this match will advance to the Championship, and the loser will play for Bronze.
TOILET BOWL
#7 MC Quasars vs. #10 The BF3000s
The first annual “reason to give a shit about the consolation bracket” contest really gets under way here as we see Sanchez, who was a Derwin James GTD away from the playoffs facing off against the unlikeliest of contenders, King of the Dumps, the BF3000s!
Dave and Steve’s teams have both turned it on in recent weeks, and are looking to earn back their buy-in after (many) mistakes were made. The Quasars kicked things off last night with 2 LBs in the TNF game, both of whom came in well below projection, resulted in a drop of 84 points off their starting pace. Despite this, Steve is still a 150-point favorite, but this certainly opens the door for Dave.
The winner of this match will advance to play for the Toilet Bowl Championship.
#8 TIMMO vs. #9 FLYING DUTCHMEN
The other two teams that really started to turn it around at the end there, were Tim and Trigger. But like all the other games, every player from TNF (4 of them here) came in under projections. Yahoo is currently predicting a win by the Dutchmen of a 172, but they also have Tim’s DL player projected for 0 points, so this is a little misleading. Timmy is going Boom or Bust at the DL spot, but if Armstrong gets a couple sacks (he’s recorded at least half-a-sack in 3 of his last 6 games) [haha, half-a-sack], it could be a game changer.
The winner of this match will advance to play for the Toilet Bowl Championship.
