Here is a quick look at the Week 15 Matchups as we kick off another year of Kronner banging his head onto his desk repeatedly when Roquan Smith’s hamstring explodes. This week will see games spread between Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and of course, MNF.
NOTE: Kaiser, Jones, Sanchez and McLeod have all earned a Week 15 BYE.
CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET
– The 2014 Rematches –
#2 Washington Sentinels vs. #6 Red Bank Mallrats

This is the second Playoff game between Kronner and Josh. The first one went Kronner’s way back in 2014 when #4 The Dorne Vipers beat out #7 The Blazing Deuce by a score of 2203 to 1884.
For 2021 the seeding has flipped, with the Washington Sentinels coming in three spots higher than the Mallrats. The current lineups see the QB projections almost dead even, while Josh takes the edge at WR and K, while Kronner had the projected edge at RB and TE. In reality, Travis Kelce has been a huge fucking bum in recent weeks and is sure to bend me over again on Thursday and… *deep breath* … anyway – the projections are real close.
*UPDATED* I started this post earlier in the week, and last night Kelce had a career game…so, my bad*
Meanwhile, Josh was able to lock up the #3 seed despite losing Derek Henry (likely) for the year, and missing Alvin Kamara for 4 games (weeks 10-13). Kronner on the other hand made a few trades that so far look like losses (again, Kelce, oops), but the Red Bank faithful are hoping to see Smith, Aaron Jones and Chase get back on track.
The TNF thriller saw Herbert with a decent fantasy game (though below projection) and Kelce showing why he was the most expensive TE in the draft. Josh still has a full squad left to go.
The winner of this match will take on the Skippers in Week 16.
#3 C Tan vs. the World vs. #4 SECOND DECK

In a resurrection of the 2nd most common Playoff Matchup in league history, Chris and Matt will square off for the 7th time in the postseason. The record is split at 3-3, with Matt taking their last game way back in 2014 when ICE’D upset C Tan vs. The World with a 1945-1752 final score, despite both teams being projected for over 2400 that week.
The big story here is Josh Allen – coming off a 487 point Week 14 performance – was in a walking boot earlier this week, and was “Limited” at practice on Thursday. It’s about the worst timing possible for C Tan. On the flip side, Kyler has turned in two solid, but not spectacular performances after missing 4 weeks for SECOND DECK.
Kyzir White turned in a solid 190 points on Thursday, putting him 40 points over his projection. Yahoo’s current prediction separates the teams by only 104 points, with Chris in the lead. But a limited Allen, plus Taylor facing the newly dominant-again New England defense, could Yahoo be overestimating their chances?
The winner of this match will take on Team Kaiser in Week 16.
TOILET BOWL
#9 Flying Dutchmen vs. #12 Burrito Warrior Revival
These two have had one previous playoff matchup, which Ryan won by in 2009 by a score of 2084-1672. Aaron Rodger outdueled Drew Brees that day 565-157 – ouch. This time around, it’s Trigger’s QB that blew up with 532 points on TNF, so we’ll see if Stafford can crack 150.
Mahomes’ effort last night was more than enough to cover up for Mike Williams, who finished at about half of his weekly projection. The Dutchmen will likely be without Swift again this week, and ill probably need Kittle to have another monster game to balance out all the injuries.
On the Buritto side of things, Coach Kreger will look for a lot of underperforming big-name players to wake up and return to their glory of seasons passed in order to advance further into the toilet.
The winner of this match will take on TIMMO in Week 16.
#10 BF3000 vs. #11 The Tim Bradys
These teams have never played in the playoffs before, maybe a toilet bowl before though? I don’t know, I don’t have that info in front of me. In any case, Derwin James boned Kyle’s lineup for the second week in a row, and opened the door enough that maybe Dave can sneak through. James came in 85 points below projection, but Yahoo still predicts Kyle by more than 200 with the win.
The BF3000s lost Hock for the year yesterday, and TJ Watt’s last 3 games were 30, 355, and 10 – so we have no idea what to expect from him. Can Russ rebound? Will Gibson get out of Rivera’s doghouse? Is Brady due for a dud? What can Chubb do with this whole team on the COVID list? This game has some interesting threads…
The winner of this match will take on The MC Quasars in Week 16.
