Well, that was a shitshow.

Dave, who hadn’t broken 1600 points since week two, put a hurting on Kronner, ending the Mallrats 3-game winning streak. CTan stepped up and handed a loss to a 2nd place, 4-1 SECOND DECK team, despite what was far and away Matt’s best scoring output of the year. The Dutchmen looked like the Lions out there, and made the Skippers look like a team who is playing the Lions. This matchup was the biggest blowout of the year with Jon winning by an 874 point margin. Ouch. What should have been the shootout of the week – Josh vs Mark – ended up as the week’s lowest scoring affair. Steve won his second in a row, trapping Ryan in the basemen with Trigger. And the battle of the Tims went (rightfully so) to the real Tim!
All of this resulted in an eight-team logjam at 3-3. Matt held onto 2nd place despite his loss, and Mark remains undefeated. That leaves Trigger and Ryan in the cellar at 1-5, but everyone is still alive.
WEEK 7

This week half of the games are between the aforementioned 3-3 teams, meaning some slight separation by Tuesday. CTAN v QUASARS, BF3000 v SKIPPERS, and TIMMO v SENTINELS all have a chance to really shake up the standings. Meanwhile, Matt and Kyle will look to rebound from Week 6 losses going against the league’s bottom-dwellers. And finally, Kaiser, who is locked into 1st regardless of the outcome this week, will take his 6-0 team to Red Bank to face a Mallrats team that had 8 players on BYE coming into Week 7.
Based on current projections – following TNF – the standing after Week 7 could look something like this;
- QAnon (7-0)
- C Tan vs the World (4-3)
- Sc4_Skippers (4-3)
- Washington Sentinels (4-3)
- The Tim Brady’s (4-3)
- SECOND DECK (4-3)
- Red Bank Mallrats (3-4)
- TIMMO! (3-4)
- The Mexico City Quasars (3-4)
- The BF3000s (3-4)
- Flying Dutchmen (2-5)
- Burrito Warrior Revival (1-6)
Of course, ignoring projections, I plan to hand Kaiser his first loss this week with a squad of Waiver Wire Jobbers, and Kyle’s projected win right now is only a 30 point margin, so it’s not hard to imagine Ryan stealing a win this week. Timmy and Josh’s projection is also less than 100 point difference, it’s all too early to call obviously…
BYE WEEK

While BYES started last week, it’s Week 7 that is presenting a real challenge for most of us. Here are the teams on BYE this week…
- The Buffalo Bills
- The Dallas Cowboys
- The Jacksonville Jaguars
- The Los Angeles Chargers
- The Minnesota Vikings
- The Pittsburgh Steelers
Five of those teams are pretty fantasy-relevant. Plus Dave has Marvin Jones I guess. Here are the number of players each team had on BYE following Week 6, but prior to the Waiver Wire (and how many remain).
- Red Bank Mallrats – 8 (6)
- C Tan vs. The World – 8 (6)
- Mexico City Quasars – 6
- Sc4_Skippers – 6 (4)
- The BF3000s – 6 (4)
- SECOND DECK – 5 (4)
- Washington Sentinels – 5 (4)
- Team Kaiser – 5 (4)
- TIMMO! – 5 (4)
- The Tim Bradys – 3
- Flying Dutchmen – 3
- Burrito Warrior Revival – 2
This has created a high demand for replacement players this week, in a more shallow than usual Free Agent pool. Those major point-getters out this week include Justin Herbert, Justin Jefferson, Dionte Johnson, Najee Harris, Dalton Schultz, Eric Kendricks and… wait – those are just on my team. We also have Dak Prescott, Josh Allen, Zeke Elliot, Austin Ekeler, Kirk Cousins, Keenan Allen, Dalvin Cook, TJ Watt, the Diggs brothers, and more. That’s a lot of points to account for on the waiver wire. I would expect league scoring to be down this week, but we can look at that next week.
Good luck this week ya bastards gentlemen.
