Week seven saw a lot of yards through the air and plenty of QB scoring. There were 8 quarterbacks with at least 400 points, and half of them broke 500. Here are the names…
- J. Herbert (548 on TIMMO’s Bench)
- T. Brady (540 for The Tim Brady’s)
- K. Murray (537 for the Mallrats)
- J. Burrow (500 on DECK’s Bench)
- R. Wilson (477 for C Tan vs. The World)
- C. Wentz (443 – Free Agent)
- B. Mayfield (421 – Free Agent)
- A. Rodgers (403 for Nacho Team)

That means of the 8 highest scoring QBs for the week, we collectively only started 4 of them. Wentz and Mayfield aren’t rostered right now. And even had Timmo started Herbert over Matt Ryan, he still would have lost to QAnon, likely karma for trying to cash in on the Lions’ misery. SECOND DECK however got only 215 points from Mahomes in their loss to The Tim Bradys. Starting Joe Burrow over Mahomes (which none of us would have done) would have been enough to tip the scales. That’s probably tough to stomach.
Speaking of The Tim Bradys, they managed (with some help from the Skippers) to dethrone C Tan and climb atop the standings, at least until the Stat Corrections finalize things on Thursday. Tan’s star safety, Landon Collins not only got credited with a Safety vs the Cowboys (which we expect will be handed to DT Jonathan Allen) but also ruptured his Achilles and is done for the year.
And while The Tim Bradys won their 5th game in a row, the Murphy Inn-ines went the other way, now having lost their last 5, thus propelling Nacho Team to highs previously thought impossible – 11th place. Hang your head in shame Jason, Dave is now on a winning streak.

TIMMO, who just dropped from 3rd to 5th place, and is the lone 4-3 team is still in good position for a playoff push, but has to be concerned with his recent offense output. Timbo’s Terrorizers put up only 1678 points this week, which is already the 4th time they’ve been held under 2000 this season. Current projections for Week 8 have Timmy around 1800 again and losing to Nacho Team…

Tim’s latest loss might have kept Kaiser’s hopes of being the first-ever back-to-back champ alive. We all know how he likes to sneak into the playoffs as a low seed. He is currently one of four teams (Hogan, Quasar, Ductch) vying to finish in the top 6, but sitting at 3 wins on the year.
