Checking in on Coach of the Year Standings 6 Weeks In…

After six games, it’s time for another check-in.

For those who don’t remember how it works, (or who didn’t read the Week 3 Update) we are looking just at lineup decisions – not GM Roster moves or anything like that. The lower your score the better. Here’s the formula…

  • 1 Point: Lineup call that cost you 50-99 points
  • 2 Points: Lineup call that cost you 100-199 points
  • 3 Points: Lineup call that cost you 200-299 points
  • 4 Points: Lineup call that cost you 300 or more points
  • 13 Points: When a single Lineup call cost you the game

Here are the current stats…

RANK WAS MANAGER MISTAKE LOSSES TOTAL POINTS 50-99 100-199 200-299 300+ TOTAL MISTAKES
1 1 Chris 0 5 3 1 0 0 4
2 4 Kyle 0 6 2 3 0 0 5
3 5 Matt 0 7 1 0 2 0 3
4 7 Jones 0 9 1 4 0 0 5
5 3 Kronner 0 11 1 5 0 0 6
6 8 Trigger 0 13 5 4 0 0 9
7 9 Jason 0 15 3 3 2 0 8
8 11 Dave 0 17 6 4 1 0 11
9 10 Kaiser 0 18 3 6 1 0 10
10 2 John 1 22 3 3 0 0 7
11 12 Tim 1 24 4 2 1 0 8
12 6 Steve 1 25 2 5 0 0 8

Observations…

  • BE A MAN HOGAN cost himself a win in Week 5 by starting Lavonte David over Nathan Gerry, a call we all likely would have made.
  • Also in a Rivalry Week 5 Game, the Quasars benched Henry Ruggs and his 218 points in favor of DJ Chark and his 31-spot. A difference of 187 points, in a game he lost to Timbo by only 112. Ouch.
  • In Week 6, had Murphy started Fulgram and the Drake over OBJ and Mostert, he would have scored another 328 points, but still would have lost to Timmo by 24.
