Again strikes the righteous blade of the stat correction. This time pulling BE A MAN HOGAN from the depths of a 1-3 start to gift him with light of 2-2, all at the expense of Murphy and his Inn-ines. What, on Wednesday morning appeared to be a 12-point victory for Jason, has morphed into 68-point loss largely thanks to Yannick Ngakoue being retroactively credited with a Sack and another Solo Tackle.

The second closest matchup of the week, no surprise, involved the Mallrats, who just can’t seem to get out of their own way. This week, they lost to The Quasars by just under 200 points. This game also featured both Austen Ekeler and Nick Chubb getting hurt early on, and both managers seeing their high-profile kickers let them down once again. With this loss, Kronner dropped from 4th down to 8th place, and Sanchez jumped up from 11 to 9.
The Skippers continue to take advantage of the league’s weakest schedule, as they throttled SECOND DECK by more than 700 points. Matt expressed concern, but played it safe and started Joe Burrow over Patrick Mahomes, a move that in the end cost him only 8 points as the rookie showed up to play. SD’s WRs showed out pretty well too, but no one else on his team did. Meanwhile, Jones got 467 points from the Packers’ QB before flipping him to Dave for Todd Gurley’s bionic knees.
Timmy and Kyle both pulled out nice upsets, knocking off the 2 and 3 teams and shaking up the standings a bit. TIM! overcame a poor showing by Matt Ryan thanks to his Kicker and TE, George Kittle. Probably the best week possible for Ryan to shit the bed, since Trigger was been riding Calvin Ridley all year, until that goose egg this week. In the other game, Kaiser squandered another huge game from Dak, who put up 639 points. But aside from Dalvin Cook, no one else on QAnon showed up to play. The Tim Bradys however got paired big games from his QB and RB with some help from the defense, and 172 points from Mark Andrews.
The game most of us were watching the closest, however (aside from our own) was the 1-12 matchup between the undefeated C Tan and the Winless Panic! At The Alleys. What easily could have been a 1000 points slutting, turned into a real match, with the winner not really pulling away until later on Sunday. OBJ’s monster game is likely what gave most of us hope, but poor Drew Brees was up against the historically tough Detroit Lions defense, so he was bound to underperform.
