The FRANK GORE Experience: Fact Checking Jon Jones…a liar

Well, well, well. Here we are again, subjected to LIES AND PROPAGANDA from Mr. Jones. Let me refresh your memory, for those confused…

After this claim, I decided to dig in and do some research regarding Mr. Gore, who’s career in our league is a lot more impressive than you might think…

  • 2005 – Undrafted/Never Added (Rookie Season)
  • 2006 – Tansuche, Round 17, Pick 5
  • 2007 – Tansuche, Round 1, Pick 1
  • 2008 – Tansuche, Round 1, Pick 8
  • 2009 – Kaiser, Round 1, Pick 11
  • 2010 – Toepel, Round 1, Pick 5
  • 2011 – Kaiser, Round 2, Pick 12 (Later traded to Kronner)
  • 2012 – Dave, Round 4, Pick 10
  • 2013 – Ryan, Round 4, Pick 9
  • 2014 – Jones, Round 8, Pick 3 (Later Dropped, Picked up by Dave)
  • 2015 – Trigger, Round 3, Pick 12
  • 2016 – Timmo, Round 9, Pick 7
  • 2017 – Dave, Round 18, Pick 2
  • 2018 – Undrafted, Never Added
  • 2019 – Jones, Picked up Undrafted, Dropped after 2 days.

From 2006-2017, Frank Gore was drafted every year and dropped only one time. That has to be a record for non-QB players.

Anyhow, let’s examine was Jones said…

“I’m proud to say I’ve never drafted Frank Gore”

Jones did in fact Draft Frank Gore back in 2014.

He also said:

“can’t think of any reason to pick up the “I’ll get you a steady 60 point a game” Frank Gore.

That statement has been deemed mostly untrue/misleading/false as Jones is, in fact, the only manager to roster Gore over the last two seasons.
