So after all that confusion about Timmy’s 2004 squad being the best – it’s not even HIS best – it was time to set the record straight.
I’m open to revised formulas, but this is based on what Jones and I came up with some years ago while hanging out at Royal Oak Mattress King.

- Winning Percentage (30%)
So here are three charts – the best regular season for each active manager, the best regular season for each year’s eventual champ, and the All-Time Best List – of which a minimum score of 10.0 is required for inclusion.

- So as it turned out, Timbo’s 2004 season was actually only his third-best personally with a 9.0
- John Sanchez is the only current manager who was not a part of 2001 season to have a score of over 10.
- Despite strong career winning percentages, Jason and Kyle have been hampered by playing weak schedules.

- In Kaiser’s championship year, where he had both the #1 and #2 picks, he finished 8th place and snuck into the playoffs – where he then absolutely dominated, winning by an average of 430 points.
- All three of Jones’ championship runs appear in the Top 5 scores, as he ran from start to finish those years.
- Despite a 7-6 regular-season record, the year Pete won is still the 4th best because his Points For and Against were both so high.
